Unveiled Halloween Party

It’s been a pretty hectic summer at Unveiled HQ. Issue 02 of Unveiled was published in July and since then we’ve been distributing the magazine non-stop! And now we’re busy working on issue 3, plus we will be organising some AMAZING wedding events at not one, but two amazing new venues in early 2015.

In between the craziness we’ve managed to put our heads together with the team at Tipi Chic, the leading supplier of tipis in the North East, to arrange a bit of a knees up for our industry friends and colleagues.

The Unveiled / TipiChic Halloween Party will be hosted in the gardens of Solberge Hall ,near Northallerton on Friday October 17th, 2014. And we would love you to come!

The event will be from 7pm – late and will feature live entertainment, plus a DJ, arrival drinks, photo booth, candy buffet, free buffet and a full bar plus much more to be confirmed. All of this will take place in a double teepee, which the guys from TipiChic will be erecting for our get-together! This is going to be one helluva party!

Oh, and we are giving away some fantastic prizes for best fancy dress on the evening too! One lucky person will win a full page advert in the next issue of Unveiled worth a staggering £695.00!! We’ve got much more to announce once final plans are made.

In the mean time, you can book tickets at just £5.00 per person using the paypal button below. Please book your tickets and share with your industry friends too – everyone welcome! This will be a very relaxed and informal event, but will also give people from within the industry a chance to meet and network too.

Number of tickets required?

The Vermont Hotel – Where Good Enough Is Not Good Enough!

Vermont Hotel, Newcastle

“An independently owned Manhattan style 1930’s tower with traditional and contemporary, plush interiors.”

As part of a regular ‘Venue Showcase‘ feature we intend to run on, I would like to introduce you to the Vermont Hotel in Newcastle City Centre.

During the Summer months of 2013, once the Unveiled team and I had decided to launch a new luxury wedding magazine for the North East, I had the difficult task of finding a suitable venue for our main feature shoot. I had already visited a number of venues in the Newcastle area and had an enviable shortlist of locations we could shoot at. Then I met with Tanya Hedley, the Meetings & Events manager at the Vermont. The second I stepped out onto the hotel rooftop I knew this had to be our shoot location!

This really is a venue you have to see to believe. I’ve yet to see an image of the Rooftop Suite that does it justice! If you’re currently on the look out for a North East wedding venue, I suggest you give Tanya a call and arrange a viewing immediately!

Jayne & Stuart

Saturday 3rd August 2013
St. Andrews church and The Manor House, West Auckland

To celebrate the launch of the brand new Unveiled Blog, we have lined up some of the best real weddings from the last issue, along with a few brand new features. Our first real wedding was shot by the talented duo at GASP Photography, Jade & Nicky.

If you’re planning something a little bit different or quirky for your big day, read on, as Jayne & Stuart had it all! From a vintage ice-cream van to knights in (almost) shining armour…

GASP Photography - The Rings

We met on our first day in halls of residence at Sheffield Hallam University. After cleaning the kitchen, I was horrified to find a freshly hungover newcomer sat with no shoes on the kitchen counter. Instead of the usual welcome, I was less than friendly in telling him to remove thus feet from the clean counter. Little did I know, these would be the feet that eventually I would grow to love.

After 8 years together Stuart proposed in bed after watching a muppets Christmas carol. No kneeling was involved, however he used his finger to write the proposal on my back! After several frustrated guesses, Stuart eventually pulled the perfect ring from under his pillow. I couldn’t believe he had picked it out himself, it was dainty and delicate and more than I could have hope for. Before I accepted, I made sure that he had asked my dad’s permission and unknown to me, he had asked the previous night.
